EDUCATIONAL APPLICATIONS
Individual
Place on a table with coloured large marbles that represent the planets and all things space. Let the child reinvent the scene.
Group Setting
Get a child to hold a card behind their back, all other children can guess what planet it is by asking questions and the child up the front has to answer.
Outdoors
Have the children ask questions about each planet and see if they can find objects in nature to represent each planet ie, colour, texture etc.
Learning Opportunities
A great visual tool, promote vocabulary skills, offers fun and interesting facts about space. Teaches basic concepts like day night, the moon, the sun, and the planets.
