We suggest selecting a floppy swim HAT size that is 2cm-4cm larger than the HEAD circumference which you are buying for to maximise the lifetime of wear.
The bow around the crown is adjustable and can be tightened to firm the fit.
Example: a 52cm Floppy Hat | Swim is suggested for a Head Circumference starting from 48cm (with the crown bow tightened) and will be able to be continued to be worn up until the Head Circumference reaches approx. 52cm maximum.
To measure head size, measure around the head where the base of the hat crown will sit on the head.
Our hats are labelled by size, not by age. The reason for this is because a persons head circumference can differ extremely to another at the same age.
To determine the correct fit for your child, please use our size guides available within each product specific to its design and choose via head circumference relevant to the person you are buying for.
